Q & A WITH NEAL HILDER– AIRUSH TEAM RIDER (UK)
Q: What is your nick name:
A: (one boot) Baggins. A trip to iceland that i only new i was going on a day before we left and only took one snowboard boot to the top of the glacier so I was snow kiting in trainers.
Q: When traveling, have you meet any beautiful girls?
A: lots and lots of beautiful girls. The rest of the world has so much more to offer than England!
Q: Where is the best place to party on the circuit?
A: On the PKRA I have only been to two events, Brazil and Austria. The parties at both places were amazing, but in Austria there are hot girls who can speak English.
Q: Where do you see kiteboarding going in the future?
A: Hopefully it will continue with the wakestyle of riding, but more competitions will have kickers and sliders where it is flatter water because it opens up a whole new world of tricks. Also, it would be nice to see people (including Myself) being more open minded about jumping underneath the kite because it gives onlookers a chance to see the full Potential of kiteboarding.
Q: Where do you see yourself in the future?
A: I don’t tend to look into the future that far. I kind of take each day as it comes because you don’t know what tomorrow will bring. But I’d like to be kiting or be around the industry for a very long time. If for whatever reason that is not possible, then I’d like to work at a ski resort and do lots of snowboarding.
Q: When the wind dies, what are you thinking?
A: BEER!!! No.. if it dies after a bad session I’m not so bothered. But, if I’m having a good session and it dies, I have to be grateful that I got on the water and was able to be doing what I’m so lucky to be doing.
Q: After a good session, how do you feel?
A: unbelievable! Kiting can change your personality, if you’ve had a good session, nothing else seems significant.
Q: What are you goals in the sport of Kiteboarding?
A: In kiteboarding, I would like to be the person who does the kickers and sliders with my kite on the water. So when you see a video with me and a few other people, I stand out.

A: I am so happy to be with Airush again this year Because I love the kites. Go out partying in Iceland, The woman are gorgeous!
